Branding and Marketing Expert, President, Chris Brown Presents Three Internet Marketing Workshops at Annual Conference …

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

Three workshops; “How to Use Your Blog to Attract New Customers,” “Social Media Strategies that Market Your Business” and “Use Video to Improve Your Marketing Results,” were presented at the 15th annual NNEP Conference by Chris Brown.

Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) March 19, 2011

Chris Brown, President of Marketing Resources Results, Inc. and publisher of the award winning blog Branding and Marketing, presented three Internet marketing workshops at the Annual Conference of the National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP) in Columbus this past month.

“Online videos, blogging and social media offer new effective marketing tools that can really help build awareness for a small business with very little additional cost,” explained Brown. “To be most effective, business owners need to develop a strategy for their participation so that they are able to connect with prospects and realize sales growth for their company.”

The three workshops were “How to Use Your Blog to Attract New Customers,” “Social Media Strategies that Market Your Business” and “Use Video to Improve Your Marketing Results.” Each 90-minute session offered concrete tips and take away tools that attendees could quickly use to understand and participate in social media marketing for their business.

“Our participants were thrilled to have Chris Brown as a presenter and I’m still hearing wonderful feedback about all they learned,” said Jennifer Cox, NNEP President and conference organizer. One workshop attendee from Michigan had this to say: “I attended two of Chris Brown’s workshops and I learned a lot. Now I just have to go home and start to practice.”

In the blogging workshop Brown explained how blogs allow a business owner to connect with their readers. A business blog provides the opportunity to tell a story, incorporate video and photos to demonstrate a point, and invite readers to share in the discussion or offer their opinion. Brown suggested that attendees start by reading blogs and joining in the discussion via the comment section. When a business professional is ready to start their own blog, is in important to determine their primary topic and the target audience they hope to engage. Many business owners find blogging to be an inexpensive, effective way to interact with potential customers or clients.

The video marketing workshop included six ways business owners use video to improve their marketing efforts. It included a hands-on session where owners created their own video for posting on the Internet. Attendees also learned about creating a YouTube channel for their business, incorporating a live link back to the primary company website and using key word phrases to assist with search engine results.

Creating a strategy for online marketing participation starts with determining what the business professional wants to accomplish. Once a goal is determined, the social media vehicles that will best achieve those goals are the ones to participate in regularly.

“Marketing is such an important part of our members’ business and Internet marketing is a complex topic,” said Cox. “I know our members that attended these marketing workshops left with a better understanding.”

Most annual conferences invite speakers from within their industry to present topics that impact their members’ business. However, marketing on the Internet is now recognized as a valuable and powerful vehicle; regardless of industry and therefore, more and more conference organizers find value in offering Internet marketing workshops.

“An annual conference is a great place for learning about emerging marketing tactics,” explained Brown. “Often members of an association or organization don’t have the time away from work to hear about these new tools. At a trade show or business conference, they have time to invest on their business for growth. It is a great place to learn from marketing experts about how to use the latest marketing tools.”

Brown publishes Branding Marketing for business professionals with an interest in improving their branding and marketing results. The online publication has over 850 articles and a subscriber base of almost 9,000 readers. The internet marketing strategies you use should not only be effective but also help you increase efficiency as well. Operating an internet marketing business involves many functions and tasks so wherever and whenever you can increase efficiency you should strive to do so. The name of the game online is to first increase your web presence so that you have an audience to which you can promote. Gaining this exposure is very important, does take effort and can be time consuming, so you want to work as efficiently as possible

Here are 5 strategies you can use to expand your web presence in order to promote your internet marketing business to others in an efficient manner!

Blogs are great platforms off of which you can promote an internet marketing business as well as interact with visitors to get their feedback! A blog also offers you the opportunity to add fresh content, and easily, as much as you like. This is important since search engines love fresh content and you in turn will love both the exposure and traffic you will receive as a result!

Submit Articles

Submitting articles online is another great way to not only increase your web presence but also build valuable back links to your site. Most directories have high page ranks and when they publish your article they also are linking to your site. This happens because you have placed a link to your site in the resource box of the article you submitted! In addition you can use your articles as blog posts as well which helps you increase efficiently and that is what it is all about!

Free Giveaways

You can offer free giveaways on your blog or on a squeeze page you are using to build a list. You are building a list right? Of course the ‘gift’ you offer will once again be linked to your business site and you will also want to encourage others to share the gift with their friends. Remember the articles you are submitting? Well you can direct people to your squeeze page with the link in your resource box and here again you will be boosting your web presence and increase efficiency at the same time!

Signature File

As you navigate around online and get involved in social sites, forums, sending emails or even blog commenting always leave a signature file. This simply reflects your name, company name and of course your link. This is you calling card and you want to leave it everywhere when the opportunity presents itself!

RSS Feeds

Make available on your blog an RSS feed tab so that people can easily follow your updates. Be sure to place this tab prominently so that visitors do not have to go searching for it therefore it is recommended to position it at the top of the page! The easier it is for someone to subscribe to your feed the greater chance of their return and this will lead, hopefully, to loyalty which then leads to referrals. Now you have one simple tab that will help expand your web presence on a viral basis! Can you spell efficiency?

The internet marketing strategies reviewed above all target helping you to increase efficiency when working online without sacrificing effectiveness! To be successful an internet marketing business must establish a web presence in order to have an audience to which it can promote. Equally important is that when working online you must make the best use of your time since there will be many demands for it. Working as efficient as possible but in an effective manner is therefore the key. The strategies reviewed above serve as suggestions as to ways in which you can accomplish just that!

PRLog (Press Release) –
Mar 25, 2011 – Internet marketing business, Internet Services Group of Florida (ISG), hosted an educational and celebratory event last month called “The ISG Way”, presented by ISG Owner and Founder of the company, Charly Caldwell II. Caldwell presented to the entire staff, as well as representatives from some of ISG’s web site design and web marketing clients.

“The ISG Way” event kicked off with a brief history of the company, including some entertaining photos of the staff from the beginning stages of their career with ISG. Each member of the ISG staff also gave a brief presentation about their role with ISG, as well as their personal and professional goals, passions, hobbies, and pursuits.

Caldwell then proceeded to review the core concepts of the company’s success over the years, discussed strengths and weaknesses, and offered a glimpse of what was on the horizon for ISG.

“The ISG Way event was a way to thank the ISG team and ISG’s extended family for their contributions to the success of ISG over the years,” said Charly Caldwell II, Owner, ISG. “I thought this would also be a great way to provide an interactive venue for both the staff and clients. Caesars, Wynn up ante for legalizing Internet gambling

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

Two Las Vegas-based casino companies Thursday upped the ante in their gambits to get online gambling legalized in the United States.

Nevada regulators Thursday approved a marketing agreement between Caesars Entertainment and 888 Holdings PLC, an Israeli company that offers online poker, sports betting and casino games in Italy, France and the United Kingdom.

The Nevada Gaming Commission authorization marks the first time regulators have explicitly allowed a casino operator to do significant business with a foreign company that offers gambling on the Internet.

The vote came the same day Wynn Resorts announced a partnership with PokerStars, a company that operates online poker games, to work together toward the passage of federal legislation to regulate gambling on the Internet.

Payoff for state, casinos

The two companies, as well as Nevada, are expected to cash in on the eventual U.S. legalization of Internet gambling, as industry lobbyists have sought for years.

Nevada stands to gain millions in tax revenue if it regulates and develops the multibillion-dollar online poker industry, according to a report given Thursday as state lawmakers considered a bill, AB258, which calls for the Nevada Gaming Commission to create rules for Internet poker operators.

Economist Jeremy Aguero estimated the state could collect between $2 and $3.4 million annually if online poker is legalized in Nevada, and up to $65 million if it captured a quarter of the international market.

AB258 would prohibit the commission from denying a license to existing poker sites such as PokerStars, which have been operating in a legal gray area after a federal law effectively banned online gambling in 2006.

States have drafted similar bills after a federal attempt to regulate internet poker died last year.

“It’s absolutely laying the groundwork for when bricks and mortar casinos are able to do what they’re not able to do yet,” Anthony Curtis, publisher of the Las Vegas Advisor industry newsletter, said about Caesars deal.

Nevada Gaming Commissioner Randolph Townsend said, “this is the first of perhaps many relationships that will be developed over time.”

At stake is a piece of what 888 Holdings described as an $18 billion annual market, according to 2009 figures, a number that would only grow if the current legal environment changes.

“It’s very positive for those who have been lobbying for legalized, regulated gaming online … and ultimately we hope to see some form of regulated online gaming in the United States,” said Mitch Garber, CEO of Caesars Interactive Entertainment, during a break immediately before the Nevada Gaming Commission voted unanimously in favor of the deal.

The contract allows Caesars Entertainment to extend its globally recognized brand, the World Series of Poker, now in its 42nd year, to online players abroad, according to Seth Palansky, Caesars Interactive Entertainment spokesman.

For now, he said, the deal with 888 Holdings will allow Caesars to “learn about the business (of Internet gaming) and make some money along the way.”

Wynn bets on future

Wynn Resorts CEO Steve Wynn said in a statement reported by the Las Vegas Sun, “After much study, we are convinced that the lack of regulation of Internet gaming within the U.S. must change. We must recognize that this activity is occurring and that law enforcement does not have the tools to stop it. As a company that has safely conducted gaming in the U.S. for more than 40 years, we believe that the same can be done for poker on the Internet.”

If federal regulation is secured and licenses are obtained, Wynn Resorts plans to launch, to be based in the U.S., the company said.

Mark Scheinberg, chairman and founder of PokerStars, said his company is closely regulated in many European countries.

“(PokerStars) has been endorsing the adoption of the same approach in the United States for years, with this alliance representing a critical step in that direction,” Scheinberg said in a statement. “We are excited about the opportunities that partnering with Wynn, a pioneering leader and innovator in gaming, will present for PokerStars in the United States.”

Infusionsoft and Internet Marketing Spur 400% Growth for Company

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

ORLANDO, Fla., March 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Business owners using Infusionsoft would be wise to take note of a recent video that hit our radar this week.  Matt Law, Orlando native and founder of Law Marketing Systems, just released an impressive video that shows over 400% growth for one of his clients using Infusionsoft.  He doesn’t just stop there, as the video boasts with proof of over a 30% opt-in rate, and clients who doubled their traffic in Google Analytics.

When we asked Matt about the videos and how he was able to grow his client’s sales so quickly his response was that of a busy marketing consultant who loved his business.  “I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some really great clients who have great products”, Matt shared.  “You see, when a client of mine who uses Infusionsoft allows us to use all of the bells and whistles in our marketing arsenal, we’re able to really do some damage and grow sales quickly for our clients.”

Matt gave us the insight into how he uses a four step approach to market his clients’ businesses and how Infusionsoft plays a huge part.  “Infusionsoft automates the marketing and follow-up.  Without it, it would be difficult to sustain these types of growth for our clients.  Clients who give us the green light have seen similar growth as well.  While not all of my clients use Infusionsoft, I believe that the best results come for my clients who automate the marketing funnel with Infusionsoft and allow us to use the four steps of marketing.”

Matt also shared with us how his Four Step Marketing approach covers the areas of marketing that Infusionsoft doesn’t.  “Infusionsoft is a great tool!  It is really amazing the type of automation you can get out of this thing!  The problem is that most users don’t know how to fill Infusionsoft with loads of prospects.  That is where I come in as an Infusionsoft consultant.  The four steps of marketing grow our client’s prospect list using such tools as SEO, PPC, Squeeze Pages… when you combine that with marketing automation in Infusionsoft you have a real shot at growing sales quickly.”

Whoever said we’re in a down economy should tell that to Matt and the people using Infusionsoft.  Matt Law is the Founder of Law Marketing Systems and an internet marketing consultant which staffs a team of internet specialist.  He is also the Founder of Four Step Marketing Consultants, a training organization which teaches new marketing consultants how to use the four steps of marketing to grow sales.   You can view the video of his client’s growth at

Traffic Exchanges

This blog post has been optimized using Keyword Winner

Traffic Exchanges are systems where you are asked to browse to other people’s websites and you earn credits or points that count towards other people who have signed up for the same traffic exchange to need to visit your website. Here is a short list of reasons that I believe you should avoid traffic exchanges:

  1. Some people use automated programs to earn extra credits, so your website won’t even get seen by a real person in those cases.
  2. The traffic you get is not targeted traffic. In fact it is worse than that, it’s traffic from people who are visiting your site mainly for the reason of getting people to visit their website. In other words, your visitors are not motivated to buy your product.
  3. Time is money and wasting time looking at other peoples websites, so that they will look at yours, could be better spent promoting your website in other ways.
  4. You can’t run Adsense on your site if you use a Traffic Exchange, because it is against Google’s Terms of Service for Adsense to use a Traffic Exchange program.
